Atticus N. Wegman

Never too shy to be extraordinary and never too confident to forget his roots, Atticus Wegman was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. Atticus attended Fresno State University where be obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating magna cum laude. After college, Atticus obtained his Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa and attended Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law for his Juris Doctor degree.

Since Atticus began practicing law nearly a decade ago, he has achieved great success against formidable foes such as multi-national companies and some of the largest insurance companies including, State Farm, Geico, Farmers, and Auto Club, to name a few. Atticus employs a “client first” mentality and protects each client as if they were a member of his family. Regardless of the fight, Atticus works tirelessly to achieve the best result for his clients. His goal is to ensure that all parties understand that his clients are the victims and must be treated that way.

Background:

Atticus has been recognized by his colleagues through the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association who awarded him the 2019 Young Gun Award and By the Inland Empire Magazine as a Top Lawyers. Most recently, he was named to the prestigious list of Top 40 Under 40 lawyer by the Los Angeles Daily Journal.
Atticus’s results include a recent $2,400,000 and $1,500,000 jury verdict. He has also secured many high value settlements including one for $8,600,000 for a Caltrans inspector who was injured near the 10 freeway in LA County in July 2020.
Atticus’s clients have described him as “caring”, “someone that knows his trade” and an “overachieving, driven and determined attorney.” In his free time, Atticus enjoys spending time with his loving wife Charlene and beautiful daughter Scout and son Atticus Jr (both also named from the book To Kill a Mockingbird).

Career

Attorney Atticus Wegman began his professional career as an intern for the United States Bankruptcy Court. He then went on to intern for the Orange County Superior Court, where he learned the ins and outs of the court system in California.
Further developing his litigation experience, he went on to practice personal injury law for the next 13 years. During his time as a trial attorney, Atticus obtained record verdicts for his injured clients and surpassed his peers’ expectations.
These are just some of the matters that Atticus has experience with. As noted by Super Lawyers, Atticus is a top-ranking lawyer who practices in a wide variety of different areas.
